So, what's there to do around here? I've run through all the tiny projects I brought along with me. There's no school, no real selection of goods at the stores anymore, and I'm going insane.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Eh, my home town was pretty lame before Senpai showed up and those murders started, but honestly, there was more to do there than back here. This is just strange with how boring it is.

I'm just looking for something to occupy most of my time. Lee's just offered to teach me how to fight for real. Should I be worried?

Look, I didn't say it made sense, okay? I was minding my own business when all this shit happened and some crazy idiot thought he was saving people by throwing them into TVs. So, yeah, there were strange murders going on and it brought a lot of unwanted attention to our town.

You could try the smithy. It's mostly metal there, but they might get people needing clothes or bags sewn up. There's also lots of people hunting, I bet you could get leather or fur if you asked. It's getting colder, people will be looking for ways to stay warm.

Of course the murderer was caught. We couldn't just let him continue to run around. We were the only ones who could catch him. And, hell, it felt sort of good to slap him around before turning him over the cops.

If nothing else, I could do things with the leather. Someone suggested that I go to the smithy, but if you're going out hunting, I can skip that to join you.

Besides, I guess it can't hurt anything to learn how to do something else as well.

Man, the cops back home couldn't find their asses with both hands, a map, GPS and help. Even this famous detective couldn't catch the person responsible because literally only me and my friends could even find out where this jackass was taking people to kill them!

er.. well. [ How to explain ] They're not really fighting? They battle each other to see who is stronger, but you should never tell your Pokemon to do something that could really hurt the other Pokemon.

Wait, wait, wait. So, it's just all a test to see who's Pokémon is stronger, basically? That's what the fuck this is all about?

'Course not! You were only askin' if they fought for us. They battle, but it's not a real fight. I would never put Pikachu in real danger.

People look at battles differently [ he'll admit that. there are come who do Pokemon battles to see who is the strongest by just having the "strongest" Pokemon avaliable ] but to me it's not to see just which Pokemon is stronger. It's how close the Pokemon and trainer are that matters. How much they understand one another. If you don't understand your Pokemon then you and your Pokemon can't be as strong as you could be.

[ He may just be babbling, but he's the last trainer who would say that battles are just a test to see whose Pokemon is stronger. ]

The police where I'm from can be soft but I want to think a few of them could muster up enough shits to give to arrest a murderer.
