[...Yu was a sentimental Fool sometimes; he realized this on the way back from checking out the house he had spotted on one of his trips through the town. Instead of going back to the apartment, however, he found his feet walking him toward the shop Kanji worked at instead. His feet had the obvious answer to what his head was thinking, and he let out a faint sigh as he pushed his way inside, looking for his friend.]

Hey, Kanji-kun.

[The tall teen popped his head out of the back rooms when he hears the voice of his friend.]

Yeah, sup, Senpai?

[Yu glanced around a moment, checking for other customers, before he replied.]

Can I ask a favor?

[Yu's behavior was abnormal and had his kohai a little puzzled.]

Uh, yeah, you can ask me for anything, Senpai.

[Yu let out a breath, a little bit of pink coming to his face.]

...could you make a Teddie plushie?

[...yep. That's what he was so nervous about.]

[Kanji blinked as he digested what his senpai was asking before cracking a small smile.]

I'm guessin' you're talkin' about his bear form and not...whatever it is he is when he looks more like us.

Yeah, of course.

[Yu smiled faintly; he had a feeling Kanji wasn't going to object to it.]

I can do that. Might take me a few days to find the right material. It's not like I just have that kinda stuff laying around, you know?

[Because, if it's for Yu, Kanji's going all the fucking way out. It's gotta be perfect. Not half-assed. It's beary important, after all.]

I understand.

[Of course, he knew Kanji would make it insanely perfect. It made him feel a bit warm inside, and his smile got a little broader, almost a little silly, before he managed to tame it.]

[ So they're all back in the village in the past but before going back into the future. Ash and Pikachu are just hanging around the village today doing nothing special. Feel free to see the little electric mouse on Ash's shoulder or something, Kanji. ]

[Kanji is walking around, trying to figure out what the hell to do now that everyone's been called back to the old school village with the horrible limiter on his Persona. He kinda misses being able to go out all out when he was exploring with Jean and Lee.

But he stops when he sees the brightly colored mouse and watches it. So yellow. So cute. He remembers talking to the kid who raised it. What was his name? Did he get it? Pikachu was the Pocket Pet's name. Damn....

He, uh, didn't get the kid's name. Welp, time to fix that. He keeps his hands in his pockets, wondering if it's gonna stay this cold randomly and tries to be nonthreatening. Sorry, Ash, he's just a big guy.]

So, uh, hey. Is that Pikachu? I didn't get your name before.

[ Ash turns when he hears Kanji come over and speak up. Hey, he remembers talking to you as well and smiles when Pikachu is mentioned. ]

Hey there! Yeah, this is Pikachu! And oh, my name is Ash! Sorry I didn't introduce myself before. And you are...?

[ Now that he thinks about it he didn't get Kanji's name either, did he. Or maybe he just forgot? Either way time to fix that! ]

[Whoooooooops.]

A-ah, name's Kanji Tatsumi. Sorry. I just... didn't give it when I made that message to everyone. Some people know me and the rest didn't seem interested if they were just giving advice.

[See, he has manners. They're not that great, but he has them.]

So, uh, whattare you doing out here? It's kinda cold to just hang around the fountain, yeah?

[Kanji, not everyone shares your aversion to the fountain. Silly boy.]

That's okay! It's great to meet ya in person, Kanji!

[ Pikachu gives out a 'pika!', feeling the same way as his trainer does. Good to see you! ]

We're just hangin' out. It's better than hangin' out inside even if it is a little cold outside. We can handle it.

[ They've been through worse. ]

Y-Yeah, same here, Ash and Pikachu.

[He has manners. He uses them. Sometimes. And, well, there's no reason not to right now, yeah?]

I get that. Stayin' inside'll drive anyone nuts. 'Specially with all the restrictions we gotta deal with in the past like this. Not that I really miss a lotta stuff, but, man, the Shifts that replenish supplies are a lot better handled then.

[Your good friend's girlfriend passed out on top of you in the fountain too? Or worse?]

Yeah, I get what ya mean! Thankfully we've had a really good friend of ours manage to still make a lotta great stuff to eat so we didn't really worry 'bout that. But when it comes to not being able to travel very far Pikachu and I had to get used to that.

[ Pikachu nods in agreement. After traveling so long only being able to go a certain distance was hard. So when they were able to travel around it was refreshing.

Even if they got lost half the time. Or more. ]
