So, what's there to do around here? I've run through all the tiny projects I brought along with me. There's no school, no real selection of goods at the stores anymore, and I'm going insane.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Haven't found much beyond working at the farm or stables or fishing. Out of books to read too unless anyone wants to do a book swap.

Help us figure out how to even build a new Battle Dome. Or something like it anyhow.

[Oh, it's Lee. Kanji's kinda amused that he responded.]

I've never built anything before. I'm not even sure how to go about trying to make something as complicated as the Battle Dome was.

Yeah, I'm not much into any of that. Got anything else?

Not sure how you're going to do that, but I guess we can.

You will train with me? I'm so touched! Our friendship is becoming even more heartfelt!

Uhh, I dunno. We were kinda wondering that ourselves. I mean, we've been helping out a lot but there's gotta be other things to do 'round here right?

[ There's a 'Pikachu' that comes after Ash's voices as the electric mouse agrees. ]

What kinda projects were ya doing before you ran through 'em all?

Are there not any projects you can think of with the supplies that are here in the past?

What kind of things do you like doing? It might be easier finding something to do in that direction.

You could always work in the fields or help my friend spar. He's getting a bit stir-crazy himself.

Trust me, it's not going to be anywhere near as complicated. I don't have the patience.

Well, back home I hung out with my friends after school or helped my mom at the family shop. Or, I worked on making stuff for sale. But, I already used up all the materials on hand for those kinds of things.

[Be glad that you can't see his living room. It's covered in small, cute plush toys.]

[W O W. Just wow... He watches the map appear, trying to pinpoint where exactly those spots are. He puts an x on one that he knows for a fact is bad.]

That's where one of the farms is located. But, maybe this place?

[He circles another spot a few hundred meters away from the one he's crossed off. Because training is better than staring at the walls or walking around the village.]

You can always try trading the things you've made for more materials. Or maybe seeing if anyone around town needs your skills?

Do you even know how to do it? I guess you do if you're trying to, but I haven't and I'm not really looking forward to dropping stuff and breaking bones in this backwater place that's worse off than my hometown.

That's what I was thinkin'. Can't just sit here and be okay with that.

[He stares at the little picture thing in the journal of the boy and spots the yellow rodent thing.]

The hell is that thing on your shoulder? Is it another one of those Pocket Pet things?

That's not the problem. I can make clothes pretty easily with the materials here, sure. But the supplies are all rudimentary and even with making the dyes from what I know are traditional ways, I can only do so much.

[Look, he's had to learn the old ways too, but damn is it boring and not worth it in the long run.]

I'm no farmer. And what's the deal with everyone here wanting to fight all the time? I got that reputation back home, but it's not that fulfilling. Honestly.

[That's because you're a street brawler, Kanji. It's boring like that.]

The problem is that the things that I need aren't really coming up in quantities that would make it easier on everyone here if I took what I wanted for my projects. I can make dyes and I'm aware of how to weave fabric, but I've never tried that and I don't know if I'd be any good anyway.

But...I guess I could advertise for my services again. I haven't done that since I got back here.

Sounds like you know sewing and/or tailoring?
